100 day hike complete . . .
Kim Scheese has just finished the first 100 day hike ever to be completed by a woman. Beginning in the bottom of the heat of Death Valley, California, and ending up in San Francisco Peaks outside of Flagstaff, AZ. She was met there by a number of family members and supporters, as well as a herd of media representatives. Kim will be presented with the Outdor Achievement Award this summer at the Adventurist Award Celebrations in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kim, a 21 year old studen in Allentown, Pennsylvania is already looking for her next hike. |  |
